Just announced by the Women’s Sports Foundation in New York!
WSF is an ally, advocate, and catalyst for tomorrow’s leaders. It exists to enable girls and women to reach their potential in sport and life (yeah!) and, in support of this mission, the team is scouting a Senior Director who can shape the strategy of its Community Impact department, cultivate external relationships, enhance programming, expand leadership initiatives, and integrate athlete participation in all of its events and programs.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s and 10 years of experience in sports-based youth development or related field. You can review the full job description here and, if you have questions after reading it, you can email the team here.
What I love
This job is temporarily remote and can be performed anywhere in US. (Anyone who know me knows I love the “work from anywhere” trend.)
And how badass is the website? I feel empowered just browsing it. Not surprising. The org was founded in 1974 by Billie Jean King, a former World No. 1 professional tennis player who won 39 Grand Slam titles in her career - and if that isn’t enough - a pioneer for equality and social justice.
Are you looking for an inspiring founder? Think I found you one. :)
And don’t forget…
You can follow this org, read about its team, and follow the team members whose profiles inspire you. This is a great way to build communal genius (aka your social impact scenius)!
