I first learned about the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship when I worked at the Stanford Center for Social Innovation. Miller Center sits right down the road, on the campus of Santa Clara University, in the heart of Silicon Valley, and is greatly respected for its work accelerating entrepreneurship to end global poverty.
Miller Center aims to be the “go-to” partner on the demand side of capital in the social entrepreneurship space and support its social enterprise alumni to raise the funds they need to scale their impact.
The team is currently looking for an organized and dynamic Program Manager who can oversee the implementation of the org’s due diligence process to determine the investment readiness and scalability of impact of its social enterprise alumni.
You are passionate about supporting social entrepreneurs and bring a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience working in the social enterprise ecosystem, impact investing, international development, or related sector (among other quals). Salary is ~$30/hr and location is San Jose, CA.
