Ideally you have a passion for Lab’s mission and at least 5 years of experience (incl. 3 years supervising), along with a strong interest in/familiarity with creative problem-solving methodologies and principles, e.g., Equity-Centered Community Design, Liberatory Design, Human-Centered Design, Design Justice Network Principles.

What I love
Creative Reaction Lab sees Black and Latinx youth as architects of change and is challenging the belief that only adults with titles (e.g. mayors, CEOs, etc.) have the power and right to challenge racial and health inequities.
President & CEO, Antoinette Carroll, looks like a powerhouse. She’s got lived experience and, among many achievements, is a Camelback Fellow - woot! If you’re unfamiliar with this US accelerator, check it out. Really impressive org offering critical support to social entrepreneurs.
You’ll be reporting to Antoinette, which I’m guessing would be an awesome learning experience based on her accomplishments and the work she’s doing on herself as a leader and activist.
It looks like this role could offer some nice leadership stretch with a fab, young team.
Tip!
To be a fit for this role, you need to be “willing to challenge white supremacy tenets (including perfectionism, paternalism, and quantity over quality).” If you’d like to do a deep dive into these tenets, you can read up on them here.
