Deadline: May 24
Carbon180 describes itself as a new breed of climate-focused NGO working to build a world that removes more carbon than it emits. Team members come from business, chemistry, engineering, literature, ecology, policy, and design, to name just a few paths. What unites them is a shared passion for carbon's history and effects on our planet.
The team is currently recruiting a Communications Associate to support its communications work. In this role, you’ll work closely with Emily Reich, Deputy Director of Communications and Dana Jacobs, Senior Communications Associate, providing critical writing, editing, and design support across all public channels and working strategically to communicate compelling messages to key audiences. Salary $65K-$85K.
What I love
The org’s clear statement of values includes open-mindedness to those who see things differently than Carbon180 does. We need more of this.
Yes! “An interdisciplinary problem takes a team with a wide range of expertise.” And Carbon180 has such a team…including Pepper, the Barketing Manager. ;)~
The org has been named one of the "most high-impact, cost-effective, evidence-based charities to donate to if you want to improve US climate policy."
Tip!
Is Communications not your wheelhouse? Carbon180 is also recruiting an Operations Associate, two Senior Policy Advisors and a Deputy Director of Government Affairs.
Don’t forget…
You can follow this org, read about its team, and follow the team members whose profiles inspire you - a great way to build your social impact scenius!
